Marketcast is a leading marketing research provider for the global entertainment industry, founded in 1987 in LA.

MarketCast acquired my previous employer, Fizziology, in 2017, and Fizziology merged with MarketCast in 2018. I served as Director of Data Science from July 2012 to September 2020.

Some of my responsibilities and achievements while at MarketCast:

Developed advanced consumer insights capabilities from databases containing more than 3 billion responses from millions of users on more than 4,500 marketing initiatives.

Oversaw department’s operations, team development, and training as a nurturing mentor with results-driven approaches to deliver on objectives and collaborate with flexibility & agility.

Lead analytics, engineering, data operations, and digital marketing teams through changes to social platforms and user behavior, evolutions in API offerings, and updates to external data vendor partnership programs.

Lead analytics teams through integration to maximize efficiency and accuracy of predictive analytics; created regression outcomes that were at least 15% more accurate for 1/10th of the cost of legacy systems.

Maintained validity and reliability of incoming data while cutting storage costs; developed scripting methods to save more than 12% on data fees while maximizing the number of properties actively collecting & writing data.

Consulted and provided media planning, creative direction, competitive intelligence, and brand health reports for billion-dollar market campaigns for Viacom, Warner Bros, Apple, Nike, etc.
